When they say Anybody But Obama they really mean Anybody But Obama or Mitt Romney. Now, I don’t disagree with that sentiment in the least … however … NEWT???

Really people, have we learned nothing? Let’s refresh shall we? Do these names sound familiar to you? GEORGE H.W. BUSH - BOB DOLE - JOHN MCCAIN

When you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got!

Of all the republicans that actually declared their candidacy there are only a couple worth discussing.

Herman Cain, while falling into the “old men” category, was vivacious and alive with new ideas presented with a fresh twist. He took no guff from the dreaded enemedia and had a unique way of putting them in their place … until they took him down of course … all with the help of the power brokers in the GOP. The other exceptions for Cain are he is not white nor is he a career politician.

Michele Bachmann of course was in unchartered territory. First, she is a woman, which apparently freaked out more than a few in the Good Old Boys Club. Second, she is unashamedly very conservative and had no problem articulating her conservatism. Third, she is young and full of energy. Last, but certainly not least, she is not a career politician. She has actually had a life outside of the government largess.

Rick Santorum is the last conservative standing, but the big guns and knives are coming out for him in a big way. While I like Rick just fine, he would not have been my first choice for this, the most important election of our time. However, after Cain and Bachmann turned tail and ran, Rick is the only one I would consider voting for although he is not as conservative as I would prefer. Admittedly, I arrived at this decision when all the alleged conservatives were screaming for him to get out of the race to make room for the gigantic ego that is Newt.

What is most curious is that these mouth pieces were insisting he withdraw even though he won in Iowa while Newt came in at a very distant fourth place. The screams continued after Rick beat Newt in New Hampshire – albeit in fourth place -- which I will never understand. But I guess it is true what they say … the media chooses our candidates and that includes the so-called “conservative” media.

The Newt Blitz has been formidable and finally propelled Newt to his very first win in South Carolina. Now the cat calls for Santorum to quit have reached decibels that I no longer hear. Hopefully Rick can’t hear them either. It should now be clear for all to see at this point that the fix is in – AGAIN!

I just don’t get it. Well, maybe I do, but am simply not ready to admit the calamitous plan the so-called conservatives and establishment republicans have on the table behind those closed doors in that smoke-filled back room where they make all their deals.

It is stupefying to hear alleged conservative leaders calling on candidates to drop out of the race for the presidency while advising those who have yet to vote in their primaries – which is 98% of the country – to vote for someone who has managed to place in a distant 4th place and a virtual tie 4/5th place in the only two primaries held thus far.

Billed as the “premier conservative web site” FreeRepublic.com has now officially endorsed the Newt. Many on the thread are now calling for Rick Santorum to pull a Rick Perry and quit the race and endorse Newt. You all know Rick Santorum…he is the one who actually won the Iowa Caucus to Newt’s distant 4th place showing and trailed Newt in New Hampshire by 16 votes, if that count is to be believed, to virtually tie for 4th place. I remember well how FreeRepublic endorsed that McCain stalking horse, Fred Thompson in 2008. Perhaps there are some out there who remember that disgusting primary and are reeling that it is happening again.

UPDATE: As it turns out the New Hampshire count could not be believed. SANTORUM beat Newt for a 4th place finish to Newt’s 5th place. Yet the calls continue for Santorum to quit. Go figure!

When the GOP says it is, you peons! Now shut the hell up and vote so we can perpetuate this fraud we call democratic, free and fair elections.

Back on January 3rd, there was a farce called the Iowa Primary. At the end of the day, Mitt was declared the winner as he was credited with 8 votes more than the nearest challenger, Rick Santorum. Of course we had to wait a couple of days as the hunt was on for more ballots, but eventually they were able to produce the 8 votes that allegedly put Mitt over the top.

Good old Mitt took his victory lap and Santorum gave his concession speech and life went on. Never mind the fact there were questions even back then as to the actual vote count. We were told in all likelihood there would be changes to the actual vote once everything was calculated for certification in a couple of weeks.

There were no headlines screaming “It’s a Tie” back then. No…no, Mitt had a BIG win which lead him to the “historical” win in New Hampshire a week later. Yeah, Mitt “won” both Iowa and New Hampshire so the other candidates might as well quit and allow Mitt to be crowned as the “Republican” nominee for President. This was an absolute “historical” moment in American politics -- if you care to believe the lying, communist Enemedia -- and by God no one was going to steal it from them! All this clamor after only 121,000 in Iowa and 248,000 in New Hampshire have had an opportunity to cast their vote. We the People have been excoriated and candidates have been “urged” to drop out and face the writing on the wall … Mitt Romney WILL BE the Republican candidate for president in 2012 and all you little people will NOT stop us.

Uh-oh…what have we here? Back the truck up! After two weeks of recounts -- with eight missing precincts never to be seen again -- the official vote count being submitted for certification shows Rick Santorum actually won the Iowa Caucus Primary by more than four times the number of votes Mitt had at the time … which sent the GOP Establishment and the Enemedia into euphoric fits of ecstasy for the past two plus weeks.

Now I want to see 100s of headlines touting the fantastic win by underdog Rick
Santorum! I want to see Mitt come out and give his Iowa concession speech and congratulate Rick Santorum on his fine win. I want to hear the GOP establishment say … never mind … I want the GOP Elitists to simply shut the hell up!!!

What the hell is wrong with people? More importantly, what the hell is wrong withthe so-called republicans? I’mserious!

Apparently there was another so-called GOP debate lastnight – Saturday January 7, 2012. Thesestaged partisan events are not even close to what could or should be called adebate. They are nothing more thanpolitical games of gotcha put on by the communist demonRATs and their communistlackeys in the Enemedia, and those stupid republicans sign up for thehumiliation every four years. There wasa time I took offense when many referred to the republican party as the StupidParty, but no more! They ARE the StupidRepublican Party which will now be called the SRP from now on, if only by me.

It is no secret the Enemedia are the propaganda arm ofthe CDNC. (Communist DemonRAT National Committee, for those of you in RioLinda) It should be clear to anyone withtwo functioning brain cells that their only mission during these circuses theytry to bill as GOP debates is to make every one of the candidates look likecomplete and utter fools. With rare exception they are hugely successful.

Why do the SRP candidates submit themselves tothis? Why do they not conduct their owndebates and have C-Span cover them? Whynot have Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin and Mark Levin be theinterrogators and air the event on Glenn Beck’s new channel? This would certainly be no different thanallowing the CDNC perform for the Enemedia and their communist agents such asChris Matthews, aka Tingles, little Georgie Steponallofus or Gwen Awful. Let the Heritage Foundation or the League ofWomen Voters or some other sane organization host the debates. If enough people scream for them to becovered, the alphabet networks would have to comply.

The purpose of these debates is allegedly to introducethe candidates to the voters and give them an overview of where they stand onthe important issues facing our nation. The last debates I ever watched were in late 2007 before the networks,including FOX, decided it was up to them to narrow the field and refused toallow certain candidates to appear on stage with the others. In the long run it didn’t really matter theywere excluded, because even when they were on stage they were given no time orquestions of substance. The entireexercise has become a joke, a really bad one at that.

And they expect me to enthusiastically support and vote for one of these morons for no other reason than they are Anybody But Obama?!

The Erroneous Bush – Daniels Connection

Everywhere out here in cyberspace it seems that Bush Derangement Syndrome has come out of remission, if indeed it was ever in remission, and exploding across the planet infecting everyone and everything in sight. It is messy out here folks and rumor has it that it is not much better in the broadcast and print “media” worlds. Why would the Enemedia go to such great lengths to resurrect such a foul disease, polluting not only their own minds, but those of everyone who seem ignorant enough to give one scintilla of credibility to any of them? My palms got sweaty as my heart skipped a beat at the prospect of another term in office for President George W. Bush.

After all, if the constitution is now so irrelevant that we have permitted a lying fraud like Barry Hussein to usurp the office, why not ignore that little add-on amendment stating that one can only serve two terms as president. Careful consideration of my day dream led me to understand President Bush would never disrespect the Constitution, the office of the presidency or our country to find a loop hole which would enable a third term for himself. Nor, as it turns out, is it because his brother Jeb had announced his candidacy.

Nope…what the vitriol and hand wringing leads to is the idea that some obscure early member of President Bush’s cabinet is thinking about running for president! Why, the unmitigated gall of some folks is simply astonishing. To make matters worse, apparently Jeb Bush had a few kind words for the man. But the crème de la crème remains with a personal conversation the potential candidate, Mitch Daniels, had with his former boss President George W. Bush. Oh Noes! Someone actually valued the opinion of Dubya!

Suddenly, Governor Mitch Daniels is not (thinking of) running for president. No, the Bush machine is pushing him into the top tier. The Bush family has chosen the republican candidate. Mitch Daniels, hand-picked by the Bush elites…blah…blah…blah. President Bush has been out of office a month shy of the total number of months Mitch Daniels was in his cabinet. That’s right ladies and gentlemen; Daniels served from January 2001 through June 2003. He has been the very successful Governor of Indiana since January 2005, winning his second term with 57.8% of the votes.

On more than one occasion I have challenged posters on “conservative” web sites to document their claims about the Bush family endorsing, supporting or aiding Daniels in any way. The only answer I have received to date came from some person with ADD or a serious reading comprehension problem. So I ended up doing my own research on someone I have no intention of voting for simply to learn the facts.

If Americans are honest with themselves they know that without your steadfast leadership in declaring the War on Terror, the moment Osama bin Laden met justice face to face, or in the face as it were, would never have happened.

Your choice of Vice President Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld were really the beginning of the successful mission that at long last ended the reign of the international terrorist, OBL. As a former SoD the Vice President was keenly aware, and very supportive of the actions that were needed to defend our nation and her people. I commend you on your excellent choice of running mate. He expressed our mission very well, and in advance, during a speech delivered to the Veterans of Foreign Wars on August 26, 2002 when he said:

There is a terrorist underworld out there, spread among more than 60 countries. The job we have will require every tool at our means of diplomacy, of finance, of intelligence, of law enforcement, and of military power. But we will, over time, find and defeat the enemies of the United States. In the case of Osama bin Laden -- as President Bush said recently -- "If he's alive, we'll get him. If he's not alive -- we already got him." [1]

SoD Rumsfeld did the yeoman’s work of reforming our military toward a high-speed, information-driven, readily-deployable expeditionary force and leading the revolution into a new reality in both what the military delivers and how it delivers it. [2] I’m confident the changes SoD Rumsfeld made were most helpful in the hunt for Osama.

As you ended ridiculous policies and tore down walls instituted by your predecessors amongst our intelligence agencies, you facilitated the co-operation needed which led to the demise of the terrorist. Your establishment of Guantanamo Bay for housing enemy combatants, enhanced interrogation techniques, and other apparatus used to garner information, were instrumental in locating and taking out the trash.

Your love and respect for our awesome military is both well-known and appreciated, not only by military members, but all Americans who also love and respect them. It is not surprising they performed the task at hand brilliantly. The Navy SEAL Team 6 are certainly heroes to all who love our great country. Sadly, they will in all likelihood remain anonymous for their own safety in this still treacherous world.

You fought a good fight, you finished the course as much as your time allowed and you kept the faith. You told our troops early on in the WOT: “We are determined. We are patient. We are steadfast. We are resolved. We will not tire and we will not fail.” [3]

For all of this – and so much more -- your grateful nation thanks you Mr. President.

Frequently articles and comments appear in regard to defining the enemy – usually they condemn some individual or group for failing to recognize and define the prevailing enemy of the day. Generally speaking most of the times such articles and comments refer to our moslem [sic] enemies. However, I contend that there are a number of other enemies who most will also fail to define in clear and concise verbiage that all are able to read, understand and apply in their daily lives and understanding.

The number one enemy to which I refer is Barack Hussein Obama. To refer to this ineligible, unconstitutional usurping demagogue as ‘president’ is insulting to the vast majority of the American people and a false descriptor of one so vile. Unless and until he produces documentation providing proof positive he is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN of the United States of America, he is nothing more than a common street hustler and a fraud of monumental proportions. And spare me all the rhetoric about that forged CERTIFICATION of Live Birth, mommy was an American, he was born in Hawaii nonsense. Fact is IF Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was his daddy, as he claims; he is in no way a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN and is therefore ineligible to serve as President of the United States. A precursory glance of The Obama File will enlighten even the most staunch defender of the usurper if they read the information with an open mind and continue to research.

Call him whatever you like -- islamo-fascist, foreign born, communist bastard works -- just do not call him president. Barry does not act like a president, govern as one, nor is mentally capable of being a president of a free nation. This is enough said about this stigma on America. He must be removed as ineligible and erased from our history and the word president should never be used to allude to Barry Soetoro, or whatever his name is. This would not have been necessary but for the 535 poltroons in the United States CONgre$$.

Another forbidden word these days is communism, and/or communist. Every euphemism known to man is used to refrain from using those words in today's discourse. If one were a conspiracy theorist one might believe it is a communist plot to dull our senses and understanding of the term. Many words are used to replace the one simple word that all understand, Communism. One can call it Marxism, socialism, progressivism, leftism or liberalism, but few feel horror at any of these words. In fact, few know what it means to call someone a marxist. Nor do they understand what a marxist agenda represents. I say this with all confidence because I have actually conducted my own study over the past two plus years. I’ve queried hundreds of folks from 9-90 years old. School kids, college kids, high school graduates, those with some college and those with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and only one of them could articulate exactly what a “Marxist” or “Marxism” actually was and what it stood for. A few more seemed to know it referred to Karl Marx, but were not quite up to speed on exactly what Karl Marx represents.

If we are to survive as a nation, this absolutely must end NOW. We need to be communicating and educating our fellow citizens. Not all are ignorant, stupid or communists themselves. Many are simply over-worked, over-stressed and over-extended with trying to raise a family, make ends meet, keep up with their children and their activities and the like. I remember when I was in that position and would have been more than happy to have someone give me a brief, very brief, description of what was transpiring out there in the real world I did not have time for. Today, communism is that brief one word description. Telling a working mom that the leftists or liberals are taking over the country and turning it into a socialist or marxist utopia will have no quick or viable meaning to her. With extremely high unemployment rates, prices rising by the hour on food, gas and utilities nothing spells out that misery, despair, failure and loss of freedom like the single word -- communism.

Socialism no longer holds much concern among people these days. It has been so over-used and misapplied it is no longer seen as any kind of threat. After all, Canada, England and France are known socialist countries and they are not much different than we are. Not only that, our young people have been so indoctrinated within our illustrious halls of learning, they don’t find much wrong with communism either. We’ve been given doses of socialism for decades in this country, but few seem to notice or care. In 1959 it is alleged that Nikita Khrushchev, Premier of the Soviet Union said “We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find out they have Communism." Whether Mr. Khrushchev actually said those exact words or not, they ring very true to those of us who grew up during the so-called cold war. America is no longer the country where I grew up. It is no longer the country where my children grew up – as one of them pointed out to me just last week.

Although I groused extensively as I stood by and helplessly watched what I deemed to be socialist programs and ideologies being turned into laws for the sole purpose of controlling the masses, there was little I could do at the time. My mother and father assured me the silent majority would prevail and organizations were being formed to confront what we saw in the eighties as a slide into socialism. There was no internet then so it was difficult to know and understand what was actually transpiring.

I was that working mom I mentioned earlier with no time or energy left to worry about politics and what was going on outside my job and home. The few times I jumped on issues and attended civil service and city hall meetings I was slapped down at every turn. How dare I question the masters was the attitude at the time and there was no one or organization to help. Eventually, I simply withdrew from the process all together and did not even bother to vote for nearly twenty years. Meanwhile, my mother and father continued to give copious amounts of money to a plethora of organizations that were to stop all this nonsense. Many are still around with little to show for their existence, in my opinion, but they still beg for money on a regular basis. After witnessing how many of the so-called conservative organizations prostituted themselves during the 2008 presidential campaign, I have cut them all off.

What America needs today is an informed electorate screaming from the roof-tops and the street corners what they know to be true – from their own research – and not mincing words in doing so. Talk to everyone everywhere you go.
You can be respectful without moderating your message. Use hard hitting words of truth not weak words of appeasement.

We have an ineligible, unconstitutional, USURPER currently soiling the People’s House
• He said he planned on “fundamentally transforming” the United States of America -- and he is
• He said he would provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless – and he is -- if you are a supporter
• He said "I will stand with the moslems should the political winds shift in an ugly direction" and he has without bothering to wait for those shifting winds.

The usurper and his regime are instituting communist programs via unconstitutional czars and unprecedented power and authority given to appointed department heads – and all with little to no objection from congress.
• He is continuing, or strengthening, the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto and the 45 Communist Goals as entered into the Congressional record in 1963.

Using words to aptly describe the actual events taking place is not throwing civility and decorum to the wind – it is a frantic attempt to open the eyes of those who still want to see, but are blinded by all the kinder, gentler words bandied about by the cowards and spineless in an effort to confuse and manipulate us.
Please educate yourself on these issues and go out across the land and spread the word boldly and without fear!

Realizing this series has become tediously verbose, I contend these facts play a significant role in our understanding as to who are the contenders, how they have set the stage we find ourselves on today, and how they intend to wrest control of the grassroots TEA Party Movement as well as the GOP.

Who are the Libertarians and Ron Paul and what are their goals within the TPM and the GOP? This quote from the Libertarians for Obama website that may shed some light on their goals:
Support the libertarian parts of Obama's agenda. Ending the war, closing Guantanamo Bay and rolling back George Bush's curbs on civil liberties won't be easy. The same Republicans who called Obama a coward or a terrorist during the campaign will redouble their efforts when he starts to wind down the warfare state. He'll need all of the libertarian allies that he can get.

I have been unable to fathom exactly what “civil Liberties” President Bush curbed. There was no change in my life, but then again I don’t associate with terrorists or use their tactics to get what I want which may explain why I saw no change.

The Libertarian Party website boasts this quote:
The Libertarian Party is America’s third largest political party, founded in 1971 as an alternative to the two main political parties. Our vision is for a world in which all individuals can freely exercise the natural right of sole dominion over their own lives, liberty and property by building a political party that elects Libertarians to public office, and moving public policy in a libertarian direction.

Having elements of the libertarian philosophy on one’s plate as a side dish is not a bad idea, but serving them as the entire meal is a frightening proposition.

Beware of groups using the terms; Open Government, Freedom, Liberty and Patriots. While these terms sound innocuous enough, all Americans with even a scintilla of research on organizations sporting these terms will likely turn up a link to the Libertarians and/or their funding foundations. Foundations and organizations to scrutinize are the far left-wing, radical Ford, Joyce, Heinz, Tides and Robert Wood Johnson Foundations [also the Wood Fund], the Carnegie Corporation, as well as the ever present Open Society Institute and the Soros Foundations network, founded and chaired by Nazi collaborator and communist, George Soros.

These are the types of individuals and organizations frequently associated with many of the so-called Libertarians, who like Ron Paul call themselves, republicans. While I am confident there are many folks involved who simply want pot to be legalized, and prefer to make love not war, there are dangerous affiliations being forged behind the scenes which most of the grassroots tea partiers are unaware. It is my opinion they are trying to gain control of the Republican Party as well as shepherd the TEA Party movement down their preferred path.

The Ron Paul, Libertarian tea party people gather under the umbrella called Tea Party Patriots. They boast 1500 Tea Party groups registered with them, representing 15 million members.

The Tea Party Patriots [TPP] mission statement is no different than every TP group:
• Fiscal Responsibility
• Constitutionally Limited Government
• Free Markets
TPP has not joined with the other TP organizations in an effort to project unity. They contend they have the largest membership of any of the grassroots TEA Party organizations and have no need to join others or have national leaders.

During the eight years of the Bush presidency there is little doubt John McCain continued to lick the wounds he incurred during his failed 2000 presidential primary campaign. On any given day one could find McCain dogging President Bush biding his time for an opportunity to once again thrust the knife into his back. He had a party loyalty score of only 81% -- among the lowest in the Republican conference.

From 2001-2008 McCain did little to support President Bush or the party, preferring to reach across the aisle crafting legislation that was against everything President Bush stood for: Opposing the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003, the Patients’ Bill of Rights in 2001, Campaign Finance Reform in 2002, Cap-and-Trade in 2003, voted against drilling in ANWR, twice – 2003 and 2005, led the Gang of 14 in ‘05, brought forth the Terrorists Bill of Rights in 12-05, began waging a war against Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in August of 2003, began the “Close Gitmo” campaign, and all methods of demeaning the conduct of the war.

What did he hope to achieve? -- To derail the Bush agenda! By God, McCain was supposed to be the president and no one was going to steal it from him. Therefore he joined the chorus of the far left-wing, radical, lunatics proclaiming President Bush was selected -- not elected, and constantly alleging the “mismanagement” of the war, albeit was done silently or through legislative means and back room deals using unknown think tanks and alleged policy institutes.

The tragedy suffered by our country on 9-11 brought about a brief truce allowing McCain to support President Bush and the Global War on Terror. During the 2004 Republican National Convention McCain supported President Bush for re-election, praising his management of the War on Terror since the September 11 attacks. We now know behind the scenes negotiations were underway for McCain to switch parties and appear as VP on the Kerry ticket. A major motivation for his support, in all probability, was one simple fact -- McCain was up for re-election as Senator in 2004. With the elections over, McCain launched a full assault against SecDef Rumsfeld and the War on Terror.

One contingent within the Republican Party represents the so-called moderates or centrists. They are well defined in The Republican Main Street Partnership. Read their History, their Mission, and who their Elected Members are for an eye-opening experience. McCain has been a published elected member and stalwart leader for some time.

The Reform Institute launched in 2001 with John McCain serving as chairman to 2005 and Robert Kerrey assumed the position until 2008. They were able to successfully guide campaign finance reform through the legislative process bringing it to fruition in 2002. Other projects of The Reform Institute dealt with comprehensive immigration reform, which failed to be turned into another amnesty in 2006 and 2007, but is still alive and well. Large contributions in judicial races, focused primarily in California and comprehensive energy reform – promoting the “smart grid” using “renewable” resources such as wind and solar, without allowing for drilling for oil on our own soil, building nuclear power plants, clean coal facilities or oil refineries. In other words…Go green or die.

Oddly enough, there no longer appears to be any workable link to The Reform Institute. They burst onto the scene in 2001 funded by George Soros, and quietly vanished shortly after President George W. Bush left office. Some may call this a strange turn of events…a coincidence…I think not! These events and factual accounting of the bizarre turn of events, weave a cynical and disastrous web of deceit that may take an astronomical amount of time and tenacity to unravel.

We must learn everything we can about the players and their associates. What I have presented here is only the tip of the iceberg, and that iceberg will have the same effect on our beloved country as that which was suffered by the Titanic and the untimely meeting with an iceberg of its own.

John McCain is leading one of the assault teams. Known associates and those funding his subversive “institutes” and activities should be examined closely. As previously mentioned, any links to The Reform Institute no longer exist. He continues to serve as Chairman of The International Republican Institute. He was a featured speaker at The Shadow Convention in 2000 sponsored by George Soros and organized by Arianna Huffington. McCain is a long time member of the The Senate Centrist Coalition the name of which is "Third Way," subtitled, "A Senate-Focused Progressive Advocacy Group."

McCain and Ron Paul are listed under "Affirmations of Insiders" on the Bush Regime website, along with other paragons of conservatism such as Helen Thomas, Max Cleland and another disgruntled former republican, Christine Todd Whitman.

Part II

After very closely observing the machinations and affiliations of certain members of the Republican Party, it is my belief that there are a couple of factions working diligently to take control of the party. To anyone paying even the slightest bit of attention will certainly agree. Unfortunately, what I call the “real” conservatives – those who represent the stable 3-legged stool of conservatism – are not one of those factions. Oh, they may think they are, but they are being deceived.

Lest I appear unclear, allow me to define the 3-legged stool of conservatism as it was explained to me some time ago.
The top of the stool – the platform on which one stands – represents the whole of conservatism. The three individual legs are what stabilize and hold up the platform. Each leg represents a pillar, or leg, of conservatism.

1. One leg of conservatism relates to fiscal conservatism. Financial responsibility, not only in government, but in our personal lives as well. The well-rounded conservative will not put themselves in debt to where it is not easily managed, risking the possibility of having to seek financial help from others…or the government.

2. Another leg imparts the need for social conservatism. This leg includes a sense of strong traditional values; God, the necessity of the nuclear family, absolute respect and honor of life at all stages – from the unborn child to the disabled, handicapped and the elderly. It states that marriage is between one man and one woman. We believe in the rule of law as our founders imagined and planned for within the confines of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We were founded to be self-governing using the rule of established law, as opposed to the tyrannical whims of man. We believe in love of our country and all she stands for -- both at home and abroad – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, unencumbered by government dictates.

3. Last, but certainly not least, the real conservative believes in a strong national defense. Without this leg what would we have? If the country is invaded or taken over in some other fashion, what need would there be for fiscal responsibility – it would be taken out of your hands. Our social concerns would no longer exist, but instead be in the hands of the invaders and the new rulers they would put in place. One only has to look at history to understand what I am referring to – Hitler, Castro, Pol Pot, Stalin, Lenin, the mad Mullahs of Iran – are all perfect examples of what happens when a country does not maintain its own national defense.

There are many today claiming to be “conservatives” who are anything but. Sure…they may be extremely conservative in one area, say fiscally, but without the other two legs of conservatism what do they really stand on? What base can they depend on to hold them up? The same can be said for defense conservatives. Although I personally believe that is the most important pillar of the stool, if we as a country spend our way into the conservatorship of outside sources, how will our military and all our defense mechanisms help us? Of course, social conservatives have the same problems as the other two legs. Without a strong national defense to protect us from the evil forces of the world who would like nothing better than to conquer the “great Satan” and the fiscally irresponsible who would sell us to our creditors, what good are all our personal beliefs in relation to God, family and country.

Without every one of these three legs, the stool – or platform – of conservatism is worthless at the least and wobbly at its best. Conservatism cannot stand without all three legs present and secure. We must be vigilant in securing all our conservative principals if we are to be prepared to stand the tests coming our way. We must stand the storm to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.

It would be great if the TEA Party movement embraced the total conservative package, but their entire focus is only on the fiscal irresponsibility that has sent our debt and deficit soaring to heretofore unheard of highs and the obscene growth of the federal government. Don’t get me wrong, fiscal irresponsibility on the part of our so-called representatives and out of control government growth is a huge deal. The problem, as I see it, would be that this leaves a void to be filled in relation to the other two legs of conservatism.

Granted, the TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already, but the vacuum remains for the social and defense conservatives, who may well be in agreement with the TEA Party, but are at a loss to express their concerns on other issues which are equally important to them.

Enter John McCain – “Mr. Fiscal Conservative”, alleged Defense Hawk and very moderate Social Conservative – all depending on the day and who he is opposing, of course. Close on his heels paddling as hard as he can, would be Mr. Libertarian himself, Ron Paul. He loudly proclaims his fiscal conservatism as he calls for a return to the gold standard, all the while insisting on an audit of the Fed and no earmarks. He is pro-life, but all other positions of the social conservatives do not exist in his world. And then there are his insane defense/national insecurity positions. Calling America an “imperialist nation”… our troops “occupying forces on foreign lands”… and referring to our “illegal and failed wars”… is straight out of the communist propaganda playbook. These are the phrases used by the communist left. Don’t try to peddle them as conservative positions.

My firm belief is that these two men along with their gaggle of followers are jockeying for the leadership and the power that comes with it within our political system, both claiming to be right of center.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian, not a Republican. Unable to win elections and gain traction on the political landscape it behooved him to drop the libertarian mantra and proclaim his republicanism. One only has to listen to him to realize he is bastardizing both. The one concession I give to Paul would be his ability to enlist thousands of energized and very aggressive young people. They have hit the web, the streets, and the airwaves armed with few facts and a whole lot of conspiracy theories. These groups of so-called libertarians have taken the personal freedom and liberty meme to such an extreme as to abolish any sort of governance by rule of law which would lead only to anarchy. To refer to Paul as a defense dove would be an insult to doves everywhere. His foreign policy is nothing short of nuts, and that is all I’m going to say about that. Come to think of it NUTS sums up the entirety of Ron Paul.

McCain is far more dangerous, not because he is not nuts, but that he hides behind many faces. He claims fiscal conservatism, but one only has to study his votes to realize that only applies if what he is voting on is done his way and in his timing. To hell with what is best for the country…it’s all about what is best for Johnny and what will keep his name up in lights! To prove he would not play second fiddle to the President of the United States, he kicked off 2001 by opposing the Bush tax cuts, which were designed to head off the recession he had inherited. John then attempted to usher in a ridiculous cap-and-trade system, McCain-Feingold-Thompson, HMO reform, anti-gun legislation -- all of which President Bush opposed – and the battle was on.

There is something very nefarious occurring in our land and no one is seemingly aware of it…or they simply do not care. Perhaps the drumbeat is being drowned out by the cacophony we have been subjected to since President Bush won the South Carolina primary in 2000, effectively ending John McCain’s bid for the presidency at that time. The ongoing and massive campaign to malign, castigate and absolutely destroy President George W. Bush should disturb any citizen who has a concern for his country. Allowing the blatant falsehoods, misrepresentations and abject lies -- not only to stand, but to be cultivated and expounded on -- is simply mind boggling. At least that was the case until this week.

On Friday April 23, 2010 a rather innocuous article from the Wall Street Journal titled; “Miss Me Yet? The Freedom Agenda After George W. Bush,” was posted on freerepublic.com, regarding President Bush’s ongoing work on his “Freedom Agenda” through the newly formed Bush Institute at SMU. Of course, the thread devolved into comments and attacks on the first part of the title -- Miss Me Yet? -- totally ignoring the latter portion.

I followed a poster on the thread at FreeRepublic.com. He was a weird and nasty sort of chap, never giving any sort of sourcing to support his fragmented, inane statements, but continued to reiterate his nonsense with an air of superiority and arrogance not seen in anyone other than Obama. There were of course, those who came on the thread to voice their sentiments in regard to missing President Bush, as well as his on-going mission to assist those seeking freedom throughout the world. Vicious, vitriolic attacks were launched on long time members of FreeRepublic and were tolerated for six days before the eventual banning of said poster.

The above was included as a precursor to the story line indicated in the title.
Fortunately, before he was banned -- or zotted as they say of FR -- he managed to post what I believe is a key to understanding the unprecedented onslaught against a good and courageous man who has more honor and integrity in his little finger than most will ever possess collectively.

What was it the weasel said that finally made my brain engage and connect the dots that have been bouncing around inside my head?

“… I’m opposed to deifying Bush’s record.
The MSM defined him as a “far right conservative”, but he was anything but.
Continued defense of that record provides cover for other soft-socialists in the GOP.
If we want to retake the GOP, that liberalism must be expunged.”

These few lines speak volumes that will surely take time to examine and research, thus Part I in a continuing series to unravel the mysteries of such a vile attack on President Bush, the GOP, America and all who care about our great country.

In dissecting these absurd statements, let me begin by stating unequivocally that no one is attempting to deify the record of President George W. Bush. We are simply undertaking the massive task of providing an honest and legitimate accounting of his presidency. Although the same cannot be said for those vilifying his record with baseless accusations and lobbing gratuitous insults -- not only at the President -- but the whole of his supporters.

In the irony of all ironies, the poster referred to the “Main Street Media” has having defined President Bush as a “far-right conservative” -- which he claims the President was not. I will concede the point…to a degree. President Bush may not have been a “far-right” conservative, but he was most certainly a conservative. That he was not as conservative as some would have preferred, is irrelevant. The problem I have is basing anything on what the alleged “MSM” has to say.

Continuing to play defense to a medium that has lost much of their influence -- not to mention profit margin -- is ludicrous. My contempt is aimed at those who continue this practice as opposed to launching an all-out offensive to restore truth and accountability. The media -- especially the media of today -- have labeled themselves as our enemy by their actions and their faux reporting. They have become the Enemedia…or maybe they always were the enemy and only through the internet, conservative talk show talent, and the plethora of conservative print media that have sprung to life over the past two decades, are we finally waking up to that fact.

To continue appeasing the Enemedia by defending their incongruous charges against President Bush -- in whole or part -- is ridiculous. The GOP and the conservatives who identify with them -- for lack of another outlet -- should take a few pointers from the DemonRats. First…deny, deny, deny…their obscene charges. Second…coalesce around the intended target of the attacks. In this case…President Bush. As an example, think Bill Clinton. Third…demean and ridicule those making the statements.
Finally, follow up with concise irrefutable evidence to defuse the lies of both the Enemedia and those repeating them, regardless of which side of the isle they resent.
Seeking to assist in the destruction of a good man that led with dignity, honor and love of country in one of the worst scenarios in which any President has had to cope, is reprehensible. Doing it to play defensive games with a known enemy, while promoting one’s own agenda makes it all the more deplorable.

There is far more to applaud in President Bush’s record than that for which to castigate him. Most of the charges in relation to his “alleged socialism” can be correctly and easily explained – something I will do in a follow-up article. At the top of the list would be that the President of the United States of America is not a king, a dictator nor a tyrant. Well…at least he wasn’t until January 20, 2009. Most Presidents must work with Congress, whether they are hostile or friendly. To affix all blame on the President is to ignore the 535 people that actually write and promote their signature pieces of legislation and along with themselves -- John McCain being a perfect example of such behavior.

Those that declare President Bush is a liberal socialist and he and his kind must be “expunged” from the GOP if there is any hope of retaking the party, are working on an agenda of their own, with their own “leaders” and time-tables. An economics professor at a local college made the statement that he had never failed a single student before but had once failed an entire class.
That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

I fully support “calling those things that are not as though they are” in the Biblical sense, but when it comes to calling enemies friends, or politicians respectable, the fringe elements and propagandists mainstream, a tyrannical usurper the president, we have gone way too far with the courtesies.

Unless and until We the People reclaim our language and our culture, as a nation we will fall. We need to consistantly and tirelessly be on the offense and quit playing defense. If someone calls you a rascist, laugh at them and walk away shaking your head as in disbelief. If one of the communists attempts to engage you in conversation, simply say; "I don't talk to commies" and walk away.

Having just finished reading my e-mails and my favorite conservative news sites, I must say I am more disgusted than ever…and that’s pretty daggone disgusted. So it is best that I come here to vent my anger and frustration than on someone else’s site where I could be attacked or booted off. No one comes here to read, so it is my safe place.

Frankly, the screaming about trampling, trashing, shredding, burning, and walking all over the Constitution has grown quite old and quite tiresome.

Every group -- from the Christian organizations, to the values groups, to the liberty and/or patriot dot coms, to the tax gangs, to those claiming to represent my rights, to all the so-called conservative groups, and those crazy libertarians, along with many of the new media organizations -- are up in arms and telling me I must fight.

Yes, I simply MUST call, fax, write and harass my congress critters and yours as well.
Why? Because they are trampling, trashing, shredding, burning, and walking all over the Constitution, that’s why. And if I could send a few bucks to help them fight the new atrocity of the day that would be swell.

Don’t get me wrong -- I completely agree that the Constitution has suffered all the adjectives they care to throw out into cyber-space to sensationalize their claims. In fact, I have contributed to many of them in the past. So what’s my problem?

Where the hell have they been for the past two years?!?!

Where were they in April of 2008 when John McCain was being subjected to cavity searches in order to prove he was a natural born citizen -- eligible to serve as President of the United States of America? Anyone that knows me realizes I loathe McCain. No, I really despise the puke. He falls third on my detestable meter -- directly under Obama/Soetoro and John Kerry. But I digress.

Why was McCain subjected to a Congressional interrogation and issued a Senate resolution declaring him a natural born citizen, but NOT ONE QUESTION was asked of the one person running for president who stated in his own autobiography, or whatever he called it, that he was a British subject at birth. WHY?!?!

As the drumbeat continued to get stronger and louder throughout the summer -- until August 2008 when the first lawsuit was filed questioning Obama/Soetoro’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president -- WHY were these groups not sending vast numbers of e-mails and snail mail urging us all to demand proof of his eligibility? Why were there no demands that the Senate…or the House…or the DNC…or the Secretaries of State certify this unknown apparition?

WHY???

PRESIDENT George W. Bush hosts visit by Jordan's King Abdullah II

Last week's Dallas visit by Jordan's King Abdullah IIwas relatively subdued as visits by reigning monarchs go. (Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah set the high water mark a few years ago by renting the entire Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and installing his own bidet.)

The Jordanian ruler was in town to visit with George W. Bush and, according to the Jordanian Times, he met with Bush family consigliere (and former secretary of state) Jim Baker to discuss attracting foreign investment to Jordan.

His Majesty was traveling without his wife, the beautiful and glamorous Queen Rania. On Thursday, he checked into the Four Seasons Hotel & Resort in Irving, accompanied only by a security detail.

But that evening, when he headed into Dallas, a 40-officer police escort joined him.

Dallas was part of a U.S. trip for the king that included last week's Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C., followed by a visit to Chicago and then on to Texas.

The Court and Congress Expected the Other to Resolve the Obama Eligibility Question

"A Place to Ask Questions to Get the Right Answers" blog has an interesting analysis on the April 15, 2010 testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the issue of the composition of the United States Supreme Court by Justice Clarence Thomas.

An excerpt from Mario Apuzzo, Esq. analysis:

Rep. Serrano did not like Justice Thomas blaming Congress for the mishandling of the matter so he shoots back at Justice Thomas by telling him the Court failed to answer the Obama eligibility question when it should have but now is answering the question of whether someone who is not born in the United States can sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. From this comment we can conclude that Congress did not believe that it was its job to answer the question of whether Obama is eligible to be President and expected the judicial branch of government to answer that question.

Frankly, I'm not sure I agree with Mr. Apuzzo's analysis. All that can be gained from my perspective would be that we will have a school yard type volly of "it's your fault" ... "no it's not, it's your fault" until the usurping poe currently soiling the People's House continues to dismantle the USA and make enemies of the rest of the world.

During the 2008 campaign when the first lawsuits began to be filed in August, all one could hear over the din was how the Constitution does not disqualify anyone from RUNNING for POTUS, but only from SERVING as POTUS. We were told he must first win the election before there would be standing to file a lawsuit.

When he was proclaimed the winner of the election in November we were told the election had not been certified by the electors, therefore he had not officially been declared POTUS, thus the “president-elect” title was used for the following 2.5 months. Consequently, there were no valid reasons to object to his election.

Electors met in December to select the president and vice president. The electors sign, seal and certify packages of electoral votes and immediately send one set of votes to the President of the Senate. However, we were told unless and until the electoral votes are certified by a joint session of CONgre$$ there is no official winner of the election.

In January electoral votes are counted and tabulated before a joint session of both houses of CONgre$$, after which it is officially declared who has been elected President and Vice President of the United States of America. It is here that objections may be raised by members. Out of 435 criminals, not one SINator nor one (non-)representative had the … ummm … ahhh … errr…GUTS to object or question the eligibility of the poe. Consequently, on January 8, 2009 the poe and his side-kick were “officially” declared elected. But…but…but…he hasn’t actually been sworn in yet, so it is not official and he is not yet SERVING as potus became the battle cry for the next delay.

Then on January 14th, obama/biden paid a visit to the supreme court. Considering there were cases in the pipeline challenging obama’s constitutional eligibility to SERVE as president, this little “visit” remains highly suspect, IMHO, and our fate was sealed.

January 20, 2009 the biggest fraud in the history of the world was perpetrated not only on the USA, but the world.
SO -- now the illegal, ineligible poe is the SERVING potus. Many lawsuits have been filed only to now be told they have no standing.

What the hell does that mean? No standing? I am an American citizen -- a natural born American citizen -- as well as a taxpayer. Why do I not have standing? How is it that ONE person has standing to get prayer removed from schools? ONE person has standing to all but abolish Christmas in our schools and public forums? ONE person has standing to challenge “In God We Trust” on our currency or “One nation under God” in our pledge of allegiance, but NO ONE seems to have standing to challenge the constitutionality of an unconstitutional, illegal, ineligible person residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C.?

And we sit here and bitch and regurgitate ad nauseam all the information we have had for two years while the poe systematically destroys the USA and every ally we have ever had, while bowing and scraping at the feet of our enemies.

I think I’ll just go back to bed and cover up my head. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll awake to a sane world once again.

Was the Bush TARP Program a Mistake?

Gregory Hilton posted another great article on the TARP Program almost exposing the truth behind the action. It is imperative the American people learn what really happened in September 2008 ... and hopefully one day the culprits that caused the near collapse of the US economy will be exposed and prosecuted.

Many Republicans who supported the Bush Administration’s Toxic Assets Recovery Program (TARP) are now encountering GOP primary problems. Some of these GOP voters are lumping TARP into the same category as the Obama stimulus (which was opposed by every Republican), the $3.6 trillion budget, the costs associated with health care reform and the use of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to subsidize irresponsible lending. Some of these voters do not realize that there was a major difference in how TARP was administered by the Bush and Obama administrations.

Some of “these voters” are being deliberately ignorant of the major differences, not only in the administration of the TARP funds, but of the administrators themselves. Once it became fashionable to belong to the BDS Club of America, many so-called conservatives and republicans simply cannot give up their favorite past time -- bashing President George W. Bush and placing him in the same category as the communist Obama/Soetoro.
The voters have already inflicted punishment on TARP backers. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) was called “Kay Bailout” by her primary opponent, and was defeated in her attempt to win the 2010 GOP gubernatorial nomination. TARP is also a major issue in the primary battles confronting Sen. John McCain (AZ) and Bob Bennett (UT).
Hutchison may have been called “Kay Bailout”, but there are many other grievances against her besides her TARP vote. The gutting of the The Secure Fence Act and her love of the illegal alien invasion come to mind.

Rep. Gresham Barrett (SC) is feeling the heat in his gubernatorial primary, and was booed of a stage because of his TARP support. Many Republicans supported TARP which was proposed by the Bush Administration. In 2008 it was endorsed by McCain and then Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). Former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) said supporting TARP was difficult for any Republican but it was the “correct and courageous” thing to do.

Romney went on to say:
"I hate the way TARP was administered, but I can tell you that we were on a precipice unlike anything we have known before in modern history with the potential of a complete collapse of our currency system and our financial system. Had we not taken action, you could have seen a real devastation. . . TARP prevented a systemic collapse of the national financial system. . . It was intended to prevent a run on virtually every bank and financial institution in the country."

“I hate the way TARP was administered” -- is this the new way of showing non-support of one’s support? For years so-called republicans and conservatives gave us a daily rant of “we support the WOT, just not the way it was fought.” It got old then with that issue and the non-support support has run its course. Enough all ready. President Bush is gone -- no need to continue smearing him.
And PLEASE…DO NOT think McCain is being opposed strictly for his endorsement of TARP. His vote and support of TARP is the least on a long list of offences against the republicans, conservatives and the American people!

Nicole Gelinas of the free-market Manhattan Institute noted: “We were never going to escape this debacle without pumping massive amounts of taxpayer money into the financial system.”
The first $350 billion TARP installment was spent by Bush and the second $350 billion installment went to the Obama Administration. TARP passed the Senate on October 1, 2008 on a 74 to 25 vote, and the House approved it on October 3 by a 263 to 171 vote.
TARP was supported by 34 Senate and 91 House Republicans, but public opinion was always strongly against TARP. TARP was designed to address the subprime mortgage crisis, and it was enacted during a year of tremendous upheaval on Wall Street.

The only real problem I see with TARP was leaving $350 billion to what would become the Obama administration. If President Bush only needed $350 billion to stop the bleed, that is all that should have been appropriated. The next administration should have had to request additional funds if necessary. Of course, Obama did not care about stopping the drain, and is in fact doing everything in his power to undo the good that was done via the TARP funds. This difficult year included the sale of investment banks Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch, the failure of Lehman Brothers and the government rescue of the American International Group, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. None of this halted the panic on Wall Street.
TARP was a capital investment in the financial system to prevent a huge collapse. It was essential to save the financial markets because they have an enormous impact on pensions, savings, investments and mortgages. In the fall of 2008 many experts said the worldwide banking system would collapse within days without TARP.
Mr. Hilton, you really should not have left out the September 11, 2008 run on our banks via a $5.5 Billion draw down of mutual funds within 1 hour. Granted that tidbit of information did not become public until February 2009, but it still amazes me how no one will talk about it.
After Lehman Brothers failed in mid-September of 2008, all commercial credit in the United States came to a halt. With the credit markets frozen there was tremendous volatility in the stock market. Bush was told by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, that a failure to act decisively could plunge our nation into another Great Depression.
They said without a massive government intervention, America faced a total financial collapse because of lost confidence in the banking system. Bush said, “I readily concede I chucked aside some of my free-market principles when I was told by my chief economic advisers that the situation we were facing could be worse than the Great Depression.”

Here again the $5.5 Billion draw down had a massive impact on our financial stability. Rep. Paul Kanjorski also said: “The Treasury opened up its window to help and pumped a105-billion into the system, and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts, and announce a guarantee of $250k per account so there wouldn’t be further panic out there, and that’s what actually happened. If they had not done that, their estimation was that by 2:00 that afternoon, $5.5 TRILLION would’ve been drawn out of the Money Market system of the US, would’ve collapsed the entire economy of the US and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed.”

This information made public by Rep. Paul Kanjorski in 2-09 was probably known by most, if not all, members of congress at the time and very well may have been the basis of the statements you cite below.
Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) spoke for many of the GOP TARP supporters in September of 2008 by saying “We’re on the cusp of a complete catastrophic credit meltdown. There is no liquidity in the market. We are out of time. Either you believe that fact, or you don’t. I do.”
Former Sen. John Sununu (NH) is one of the two Republican members of the TARP oversight panel. He says the program “did help to stabilize financial markets during the critical period of November and December in 2008.”
Republican primary voters are now attacking lawmakers in their own party for supporting a program that A) was created at the behest of a Republican President and B) was central to saving America from a serious depression.
The infusion of $350 billion by the Bush Administration was the best way to slow the nation’s slide to the financial edge.
The program worked and the Republicans should be glad it did.

Couldn't agree with you more, Mr. Hilton. However, the spineless republicans continue to bow down to the the dictates of the enemedia, which insists President Bush was the worst president ever and they should do everything in their power to distance themselves from him. Consequently, they claim they were lied to or at minimum misinformed. They think the American people are as stupid as they are!

So You Say You Want a Revolution?

American Thinker posted this article by Matt Patterson on March 30th.
It is a good article with very good ideas, but there are a few points I would like to make. I make them here, as I no longer "join" any internet forum. Most so-called conservative forums have gone squishy when we needed them most and I don't have the time or patience for that nonsense any longer. We need to stand up and fight NOW, or we will lose the right to do so.

How are the people to react to the erosion of liberty that is the Obama health care regime? To be sure, lawyers will challenge it in the courts, and November is right around the corner, giving opportunity to punish those traitorous politicians who acquiesced to the debasement of our Constitution.

1. The erosion of liberty by the Obama regime began long before the diabolical Death Care bill was passed. Less than 30 days into this current regime the gigantic Porkulus bill, aka Stimulus II, was passed. If anyone is paying attention, there have been outrages on a daily basis since January 20, 2009.

2. Yes, lawyers will challenge the Death Care bill in the courts -- if they are given standing. Again, anyone paying attention know what I mean by that.

3. The real laugher is the idea that the elections in November give us an opportunity to do anything other than waste our time going to the polls. When there is video tape of militant Black Panther members intimidating and turning away voters, yet there are no charges filed … ooops there were charges filed, only to be dropped by the new administration. There are many more vote fraud stories to be told over the past 10 years that I am aware of, but I digress.

4. How anyone can refer to the debasement of our Constitution in this day and age is amazing. There is a fraud currently residing in the People’s House that rendered the Constitution null and void on January 20, 2009. Where were all these people when that “debasement” took place? Where have they been every day since? Silent, that’s where!

5. No, we absolutely cannot trust lawyers or politicians. If we could there would have been one member of the US House of Representatives and one member of the US Senate with the gonads to question the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, PRIOR to the certification of the electoral college.

6. While a nationwide strike by the productive class is a good idea, I believe the American people are ignorant of what is truly happening in our country, or they are quite simply, just stupid and/or lazy. Another choice would be the segment of the population who are part of the problem -- the socialists/communists/fascists -- who consider it perfectly acceptable for them to sit on their asses and be cared for by others who fork over their hard earned wage at the point of the federal gun to care for others in the name of "social justice".

[President] Bush’s $350 Billion TARP is About to Break Even

The Obama administration announced today that over the next year it will begin to sell the government’s 7.7 billion shares in Citigroup. The Citigroup shares are one of the last remaining legacies from Bush administration’s first installment of the Toxic Assets Recovery Program (TARP). The sale means the Bush outlay of $350 billion in TARP funds will break even, or result in a profit.

All of the major financial institutions which received funds from the Bush administration have been able to meet the requirements established by the Treasury Department. Over 80% of these funds have now been repaid with five percent interest, and the government earned $19 billion. All six of the biggest U.S. credit-card issuers have also returned their bailout money, and these initial TARP funds were repaid about a year after their distribution.

Citigroup was one of the hardest hit banks and they received $45 billion in bailout money, more than any other financial institution. The Treasury paid $3.25 a share for its stake in the bank during the 2008 credit crisis. The good news for the taxpayers is that the shares have increased steadily in value, and the government will receive a hefty profit of between $8 and $10 billion.

The remaining major question mark from the Bush TARP funds is the insurance giant AIG, which has been rapidly selling its assets. The taxpayers could still lose $12 to $20 billion on their AIG investment. If that does happen, it will be subtracted from the $29 billion in profits which were received from Bush’s TARP.

Once again, the bottom line is that Bush’s TARP will break even or will result in a small profit. This is a far different outlook than what was predicted during the final months of the 2008 campaign.

I would personally like to thank Gregory Hilton for the articles in regard to TARP. There was so much misinformation and blatant lies about TARP and the necessity for the funds, it is good to see someone attempting to set the record straight.

Conclusion:
No way is he a “natural born citizen” of the USA as that requires BOTH parents to be US citizens. He may or may not be a “native born citizen”

Mother is 18 -- Legal age in the US in 1961 was 21 y/o

Conclusion:
Per the Obama File:
Upon reaching the age of 18, the minor can go before the appropriate US State Dept Official and apply for re-instatement of citizenship, and swear allegiance to the US.
There is no evidence that Obama has done so, and even if he did, he would then be a NATURALIZED citizen and will forever have lost any natural born citizen status to be president.

Other Concerns:
There is also the question of his legal name.
I have seen reports that his name was Barry Dunham and Barry Soetoro.
We know that he went by Barry Soetoro for at least some portion of his life.
When did he go from being Barry Soetoro to Barack Hussein Obama?
If there was no legal name change, would this not make anything and everything he has signed as Barack Obama fraudulent?

In all likelihood he is most definitely not constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States of America.
In all likelihood he is also the most fraudulent individual to ever attempt such a feat.

Not being a fan of Mitt Romney to begin with, his campaign "susupension" of February 8th, had little affect on me. However, his campaign "withdrawal" and endorsement of McCain had a more pronounced reaction.

As I have said previously, I have been disenfranchised this election. Millions of Americans have been disenfranchised, but no one seems to be bothered by it. Nor does anyone appear to be inclined to DO something about it.

The constant refrains ringing through the air are disturbing, to say the least.
To say; "we have no choice" or "our only choice is mccain or a rat" and my favorite - "the people voted" and gave us mccain.

Is this the way the founders of our country and the framers of the constitution intended for us to survive? Unless I misunderstand, the power of the government is granted by the people, not the other way around.

After only seven states had an opportunity to cast a vote or register their preference, as was the case in Wyoming, mccain was declared the front runner. Never mind the fact he had only "won" 3 of those 7 states with 37, 33 and 36% respectively and came in second in one contest with 29%. Meanwhile, Romney had also won 3 of those 7 states with 57, 38 and 51% and came in second in three states with 25, 31 and 31%. Oh hell, let's add the last of the states before "super Tuesday" and do the math. Romney won Maine with 52% of the vote, followed by mccain with 21% and Paul with 18%.

McCain had garnered a measly 25% of the vote from only 7 states when he was declared the so-called front runner. This was simply greasing the wheels for the mind-numbed idiots to vote for him a few days later giving him the nomination.

Everywhere I turn voices are being raised declaring the primary election season is over for republicans. Everyone from Mitt Romney to Ann Coulter to John McCain to every media outlet to the talk radio hosts to “important” republican endorsers the promulgation is being heard loud and clear. The republican primary season is over, done, finished, a fait accompli.

And the republican presidential nominee is…
John McCain.
There is only one problem with this scenario --
I have not yet voted. Nor have millions of other U.S. citizens.
We have been effectively disenfranchised.

Disenfranchised: adjective;
deprived of the rights of citizenship especially the right to vote

Instead of an uprising with howls of being eliminated, I hear nothing but pleas to support the nominee for the sole rationalization that he is not a democrat. Well, I’m here to tell you that argument could be debated with great veracity and won.

We have a serious problem with the system when a very large percentage of the country has yet to be heard from while the process is deemed to be over.

My state does not allow for party affiliation registration, so I have no idea how one becomes a delegate or how to contact them. Another One Bites the Dust

Mitt Romney withdrew from the race for the presidency today...ostensibly for the "good of the country and the good of the party" in a time of war.

What is good about removing choices from the American people?
Why is it good that candidates are being removed before most citizens have an opportunity to vote?
What makes an uncontested race for the presidency a free and fair election?
And why is that good for America?

Good for the party? Okay. The party is now dead. With their recent actions and the gestapo forcing withdrawals from the presidential race, I suppose it is good for the party.

When Duncan Hunter was still in the race the war or military service was rarely mentioned. Wish I had paid attention to how many times those two things have been brought up since he was effectively removed.

What we are witnessing is the downfall of the United States of America.
This in no way resembles a free and fair election.
No way is this a government by the people, for the people and of the people.

The entire process has turned into a theatrical production...a dog and pony show...a circus...a bad dream. The American people should be rising up demanding freedom. Instead they are begging folks like me to vote for the most vile candidate I have seen in my lifetime.

Will I vote for McCain? The answer is not just NO! -- but HELL NO!

VOTE? - WHY?

On July 30, 2007 I began this blog post. (Unfortunately, I was unable to complete it at that time.)

I am sick of hearing opinions, under the guise of facts, from all the "realists" and media talking heads regarding our presidential candidates! There are over 15 months separating us from today and the election. And yet, the talking heads continuously pedal their opinions as facts and assure us we need not trouble ourselves with silly things like primaries or caucai. Yes, these mental giants, these gurus of our day, have determined who the candidates will be in November 2008.

There is no need to gather information on those vying for the highest position in the land in an attempt to make an informed, responsible decision. Surely we all have better things to do with our time than knock on doors, gather signatures, write letters and contribute money to the candidate WE believe is the best person for the job. Why bother with all those trivial and demeaning tasks when our overlords have done the work for us. All that is required of us is to go to the polls and vote.

-- Today I will complete the post, beginning with the last two questions I had entered for further research prior to temporarily abandoning this post.

Who decides who is electable?
The definitions are as follows:
–adjective
capable of, or having a reasonable chance of, being elected, as to public office.
Fit or able to be elected, especially to public office: an electable candidate.
--Related forms: noun, electability
What makes one capable of, or fit to be elected?
What is the criteria on which a judgment can be based?
Are there standards employed in the decision making?

The Constitution requires the presidential candidate:
--- to be a natural born American citizen
--- having obtained the age of 35 years

I have heard folks say one must “look” presidential. Whatever that means.
Seriously, what DOES that mean?
--- No long hair, no tattoos, no tongue or nose piercing?
--- No jeans and t-shirt while addressing the nation?
--- Must have hair, but it mustn’t be too well coiffed lest he be teased?
Some of these items are valid points, in as much as the POTUS will represent the USA around the world in high-level meetings.

Another familiar claim; the candidate must have prior executive experience.
--- Preferably they should have been the governor of a state.
--- Or they must have been CEO/CFO of a huge corporation
--- Starting a small company and guiding it to a very large company.
Not sure this one carries as much weight in the criteria department. The president, much like a governor or big businessman, surrounds himself with the best people in their field. They do not make policy decisions alone.

Many argue a senator or congressman simply can’t get elected, or rarely do.
--- The argument has not changed in regard to a congressman.
--- It has shifted greatly for this election, with many senators running.
The fact is, some congressmen serve on or head committees that manage gigantic budgets. While this may not qualify as executive experience, in the eyes of some, it is a damn sight more than ANY senator has ever done. All those loud mouths do is talk and suppress the rights of their subjects…us.

Some clamor about name recognition and notoriety.
--- This is the most ludicrous remonstration I have heard.
--- Name recognition is a created phenomenon.
Both these can be here today and gone tomorrow at the whim of a few.
Examples -- had anyone ever heard of B. Hussein Obama prior to 2004?
How many really recognized his name before he entered the 2008 race?

Then comes the all important “communication skills” meme.
--- Speaking skills are in the ears of the beholder.
--- One man’s eloquent speech is another man’s mumbo jumbo.
Many complain about President Bush and his alleged lack of communication skills. I always hear and understand what President Bush says, while I never understood the nuanced eloquence of J. Effin sKerry.
Dr. Alan Keyes is a most eloquent speaker and a statesman. Try asking the moron on the street what he has said.

We often hear the candidate must possess charisma and leadership skills.
--- While this may be true, we need to examine the direction of both.
Hitler had tremendous charisma, as did Jim Jones. Marx, Stalin and Lenin had great leadership skills. We need to look beyond the actual skill and closely scrutinize exactly where these leadership skills will lead us and if the charisma being employed is negative charisma or being used for good.

Now let us look at WHO is determining the “electability” factor:
1. It goes without saying that the media, the enemy within…aka the enemedia, are the major players in this exercise.
--- I include print, broadcast media and radio talkers in this category.
--- As well as the pundits and the web sites from both sides of the political isle, the alternative media, if you will.
2. The party leaders have been playing a big role here as well.
3. Previously trusted watchdog organizations typically persuade many in their decision making. Millions look to certain groups and/or individuals for guidance in choosing a candidate to support.

When all these mentioned above are pimping those who you can see with a simple cursory glance are not what they are being touted as being, we have a colossal breakdown in the system.

Allow me to present proof of these allegations beginning with #3:

"In making its endorsement, National Right to Life considered the position of candidates on the life issues, their records on the life issues and their ability to win."

The NRTL endorsed Fred Thompson. Fred’s track record on their own website show’s him with an average of 65.3% during three sessions of congress. If you divide that by six years, he has a 10.9% per year pro-life rating
There were viable candidates with a 100% pro-life voting record -- 100% every single year they were in congress. Those folks were not endorsed.
Does NRTL continue to have any credibility? Not with me they don’t!

Here is another example of a once good organization prostituting itself, straight from their e-mail transmission:

"Look at our NumbersUSA home page for our description of how Thompson has the best immigration promises and plan of all the candidates polling above 5%.
Both Thompson and Romney have promised to make illegal aliens go home."

(Please note that neither one did a damn thing to make that happen when they actually held an office, regardless of the short time they both did so.)

Continuing the missive…..

"But McCain's pro-amnesty plans received their greatest exposure this week when Gov. Huckabee signed NumbersUSA's "no-amnesty pledge" in front of a busload of national news media at North Greenville University in South Carolina."

And THERE you have it folks! Empty campaign rhetoric, aka LIES in a more sane time, combined with non-binding signatures on some groups pledge, but doing so in front of the “sacred enmedia” now demands support from the ignorant masses.

Oh, lest we forget…ONLY those “polling above 5%” in the proven fraudulent, incomplete polling data qualify for their ratings. It is difficult to garner 1%, let alone 5% when one is NOT INCLUDED IN THE POLLING DATA!
NumbersUSA…credible no more! Delende est!

The Christian Family Coalition failed to include two candidates who were still in the race at the time of their printed “values voter” guide. Funny thing is, the two that were left off were more about wholesome values than those they included. CFC not ranking high on the credible scale at this point.

Moving on to #2 and the party leaders…
When you have a party “leader” making this statement, you know all is lost!

"Electability is becoming a very important issue in this nomination contest and John McCain is the strongest candidate we could nominate to defeat the Democrat nomnee in November,"
said RNC Vice Chairman Chuck Yob.

Of course that inane statement is child’s play considering what the recent former General Chairman of the Republican Party had to say on national TV January 29, 2008 after the Floriday primary:

I have not had the opportunity to cast a vote yet, nor have nearly half of the voting population, but the fix is in, arranged by the enemedia and our complicit vaunted party leaders. I will need to pray and think long and hard on how I will vote…if I bother to excercise my right as a U.S. citizen. None of those chosen by the party heads, the enemedia or the powers that be represent anything I stand for.

My apologies to Congressman Duncan Hunter, but at this point, sadly, I must disagree with his assessment when he said:

"We are still a people of character and strength and kindness.

As we all know, Duncan Hunter "ended" his campaign on January 19th, before the piece could be sent out. After sitting in a near catatonic state for the past 15 days, I have decided to post the piece for informational value if nothing else.

Duncan Hunter is a Christian and a man of strong Faith:
Congressman Hunter does not simply talk the talk we have been hearing so much about lately, he actually walks the walk. After quoting John 3:16, Hunter goes on…If you believe in this promise, which so obviously is not scientifically provable, then is there any other event in the Bible that God’s hand cannot accomplish? --

When I am asked by those who pride themselves on the reliance on provable scientific facts regarding the validity of the scriptures, I answer with one such set of facts. There are an infinite number of atoms on the head of a pin, each of which are circled by electrons. Who placed those electrons there? I hope their attempt to answer this question helps them to understand my three-word answer to your original question.

Duncan Hunter’s Life at Conception Act, if passed, would define life as beginning at conception. If that happened, the Preamble, 5th, and the 14th amendments would apply to protecting the lives of the unborn. An admission made by the court in their Roe v. Wade ruling when Justice Blackmun wrote; If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant’s case, of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment.

Q: What will you do to restore legal protection to the unborn?
A: Well, the first thing I would do is pass the Hunter bill which states that life does begin at conception. I was holding out hope that we could save the Republican Party from its slow, deliberate and painful march towards irrelevance. But with the only Reaganite in the primary election, Duncan Hunter, dropping out this past weekend, and Tom Tancredo long gone after being pilloried by the GOP cheerleaders on ‘conservative’ talk radio, and Fred Thompson, the only other reasonably traditional conservative, unable to get the necessary traction for a competitive race against the moderates, it is time to cut our losses and let the collapse take its natural course.

The GOP, the RNC and their mouthpieces in the conservative media have alternately argued that Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, and John McCain are upstanding conservatives worthy of support. Despite each having undeniable careers as moderate to liberal politicians, a sampling of arguments have been made recently in said media that Mr. Giuliani would be good for the pro-life movement, that Mr. Romney’s record in Massachusetts was a model of conservative governance, and that Mr. McCain does not support amnesty. All demonstrably false. And each man a demonstrable prevaricator in his current claims.

There are plenty of other 3rd parties in existence, but none that adhere to the unparalleled wisdom of what our Founders laid out in the constitution, coupled with the policies that, in times past, made the GOP great: The party of life, liberty, limited government, sovereignty, low taxes, and military might. Fred Thompson in Trouble: Are All Other Republicans as Well?

Dissection and comment on this article by JB Williams from Jan 21, 2008 is certainly warranted, as he continues to perpetuate the lies on the mystical Fred Thompson candidacy. Mr. Williams wastes no time in getting straight to the point, however, he may have inadvertently pronounced the truth in his opening lines, albeit by crafty word placement.

-- Fred Thompson was drafted by the conservative base of the Republican Party for two very simple reasons. One, the Republican National Committee offered no other viable conservative choice and two, only a true traditional conservative can challenge today's Democratic Socialists. --

First let's address the second sentence with its carefully placed modifiers.
1. ...the Republican National Committee offered no other viable conservative choice...

Translation: The RNC would not support an actual conservative so they concocted the "viable" meme to feed the sheep, by force if necessary.
To whom are we obliged for this definition of viable. I recall reading articles in early December 2006 about Congressman Hunter and his intention to run for the presidency and the adjectives being used were dark horse, long shot, and of course, viable, preceded by not, remained firmly in place and part of the equation until he ended the campaign a few days ago. It was tiresome two years prior to the election and became downright annoying as time went by.

2. …only a “true traditional conservative” can challenge today's Democratic Socialists.

Translation: We are so dizzy with the spinning we have been doing that we are fresh out of arguments, so we will now simply dazzle you with bullshit.

How can one possibly argue with that sentence? The original definition of conservative has been bastardized to the point where a simple conservative could not find their way out of a paper bag. Therefore, they must be not only a “conservative“, but a “true” one at that. But wait, there is more…they are now required to be “traditional” in their “true” act of being a “conservative” all the while continuing to remain “viable.”

Now for the first sentence of this literary masterpiece:
-- Fred Thompson was drafted by the conservative base of the Republican Party for two very simple reasons. --

No Mr. Williams, it was not the “conservative base” that “drafted old Fred, it was the jack booted thugs of the Republican party, aka the Party Faithful Squadron.

The RNC intends to merge the United States with Mexico and Canada, forming the North American Union, and the ignorant masses are not about to stop them. After the crushing defeat of the Amnesty Shamnesty bill last summer, the conservative base wanted an actual bona fide conservative, who values his country and its sovereignty. This simply could not be permitted!

With that, the party faithful jumped into action with the farcical draft plan for the great conciliator, Fred Thompson. With his minimal experience and miniscule senate record, Fred was a likely choice with his "aw shucks" demeanor and great acting skills. Who would dare cross the originator of the most egregious anti-free speech laws in our country? Add the fact he spent his entire senate career in the Senate Centrist Coalition, and he was the perfect candidate to derail those that were undesirable to the "party" and their ultimate goals.

While conservative Congressmen Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo and Senator Sam Brownback were legitimately in the race beating the campaign trail, these dark forces were working in the shadows to "draft" a so-called "conservative" to dispose of them. They spent more months promoting and campaigning for "their" candidate than said candidate actually spent in the race. Hopefully this small band of party faithful are still trying to make the room slow down from all the spinning they took part in the past 10 or so months.

Wow, you have got to love this one:
-- He was asked to put his personal life on hold, and answer the call to serve his fellow conservatives in desperate need of real conservative leadership. --

Using “real conservative leadership” in the same sentence with Fred Thompson is an oxymoron. It would appear no one was interested in scrutinizing Fred’s actual senate record. I must admit it is quite tedious scrolling through all the nonsense at the Library of Congress website and highly recommend it for insomnia. However, Fred’s record does not inspire thoughts of leadership and certainly not that of a “real conservative.”

No where in this article does JB, I hope I can call him that after all the time I have spent on his article, show his abject ignorance more than in this little quip:

-- No conservative including Thompson, had any chance of winning in Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan or Nevada, all heavily liberal, which delivered three different winners in four primaries. --

If Iowa and Nevada are heavily liberal, then New Hampshire must be heavily conservative and Michigan must be conservative leaning. Do these so-called journalists do any research? Do they think the sheeple will simply drink their bilge with no thought or research into the subject? JB, may also take note of the fact that 2 of those 3 winners are the religion candidates, which many equate with conservative principles.

Yes, there is more:
-- NO Republican can win in November without the support of the Republican base of the party. And none of the new front-runners, McCain, Romney, or Huckabee will enter November with the base of their party intact. --

I guess this all depends to which base JB is referring. It would now seem likely the Republican base and the Conservative base are two different bases situated at opposite ends of the spectrum.

-- Thompson is the only Republican candidate who can bring all Republicans into the voting booth in November, yet too many Republicans choose to ignore this reality. --

(From here on I will be writing in the past tense, after learning Fred has quit the race.)

I could not disagree with this statement more if I tried. Fred was the establishment candidate. He was their compromise candidate. He was their stealth candidate. He was the spoiler candidate for the actual “true traditional conservative” candidates. His reputation was a myth and few fell for his unconvincing performance despite the rave reviews you and those like you continued to give him. Organizations like the Right to Life and NumbersUSA, to name but two, the so-called conservative alternative media sources and pundits prostituted themselves, losing all credibility, for this whimsical, faux candidate.

-- Conservatives understand that America has exactly the government it deserves at all times, as it always has the government it elected. Before the government can change, the people who elect it must change. --

Before any further comment on this, let me just quote our old buddy, Uncle Joe Stalin:

“It is enough that the people know there was an election.
The people who cast the votes decide nothing.
The people who count the votes decide everything.”

-- If Republicans are not yet ready to nominate a conservative, then the nation can not elect a conservative. --

Approximately 1.6 million people have voted thus far in only 6 states. To be calling the primary election now and surrendering the general election over 9 months out, is a bit more defeatism than I can take at this stage of the game. Stop repeating the lie.

-- Republicans are well on their way to plotting their own defeat in November and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them. Thompson has been telling it exactly as it is, but only core conservatives are listening. --

There is no arguing the first part, albeit the Kennedy Wing of globalist elite from the Republican Party. I will take great exception with the latter.

Fred has said nothing of great value and talked in circles more than anything else. There was a voice calling out from the wilderness however, and he was completely blacked out.

Pravda-USA and the rest of the Enemedia have taken over the primary election cycle with the complicity of the Party and no resistance from the people. I suspect the Party is behind a great deal of the repeated misinformation. As Lenin said;

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."

Where lies would not be tolerated, with respect to Duncan Hunter, the communist playbook called for ignore-ignore-ignore, followed by deny-deny-deny. Worked like a charm. Another great quote from Uncle Joe is apropos:

"Print is the sharpest and the strongest weapon of our party."

-- There’s nothing left to do, but to allow all other Republican learn the hard way. The Republican Party is either America’s conservative party, or it is an obsolete unnecessary evil. Republican voters are choosing to make it the latter. --

Me thinks thou doest surrender too quickly and with no fight whatsoever! That is disturbing and I pray the American people, if they ever wake the heck up, will not lay down as quickly and quietly as you did.

I do believe the verdict is in on the Republican Party…it is no longer America’s conservative party, therefore it is an obsolete unnecessary evil.

However, Republican voters have chosen nothing as of yet. Only 5 states have actually allowed the people to vote and at least 2 of them, as I recall, have open primaries where cross-over voters may have had a huge effect on the outcome. Far too early to give up.

This election cycle has reached a new juncture that will hopefully take a new direction…to the RIGHT!

Duncan Hunter and the New Year

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and my best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Now that the Christmas season has passed, it is time to get down to business! Wednesday [1-2-08] was a very sobering day as I attempted to listen to a couple of my favorite "conservative" talk radio hosts while perusing several "conservative" blogs and web sites. I was excited to have the hosts back at their microphones after most had taken a break over the holidays. To say I was highly disappointed would be a gross understatement.

One host was trying to sell the new improved Fred Thompson by calling him a conservative. He did this by cutting to shreds every other "viable" or "top tier" candidate. Not a thing wrong with that when it is deserved, but to slam one candidate for the anti-free speech legislation, aka McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform, while calling the original author of said debacle a conservative is simply beyond the pale.

He feels no need to contort himself into something that is more acceptable to others while betraying his own sense of self, his integrity or his God. He quietly, almost methodically, performs his duty to the best of his ability without seeking rock star status for himself. He actually sees himself as a humble servant of "we the people" -- a trait that is refreshing to find in that cesspool known as Washington, DC.

The most important reason I endorse Congressman Duncan Hunter for President can be made into a book or summed up in one sentence:

He is consistently pro-life

He is pro-family and traditional American values

He is pro-Military

He is pro-strong national defense

He believes in FAIR trade: Not selling our country to the highest bidder, ceding our national sovereignty to another country or power in the name of FREE trade. Trade like that is only free to the other guy and has run our trade deficit up to 800 billion dollars.

The Inimitable Duncan L. Hunter

Representative Duncan Hunter, R-CA, is running for president. He is getting little to no attention from the enemedia. This is a sad commentary on the press in the USA. Pathetic actually.

Allow me to introduce you to the one true conservative candidate in the 2008 presidential race.

Duncan Hunter is a decorated veteran having enlisted in the United States Army in 1969. He served in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 in the Army Rangers' 75th Ranger Regiment, attached to the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He participated in 24 helicopter assaults as well as in small-number, night-time reconnaissance patrols. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal and service ribbons such as the Vietnam Service Medal.

In 1973, he enrolled law school and earned a BS in Law and Juris Doctor in 1976. Hunter worked farming and construction jobs to supplement his income while finishing his degree. Upon graduation, he worked as an attorney, setting up a private practice in the Barrio, where he often provided free legal assistance to the area's Hispanic community.

Duncan Hunter has been married to wife Lynne since 1973. They have two sons, Duncan Duane, a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, who was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2004 and just completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan, and Samuel, who is working on the campaigns of his father and brother, who is seeking the seat being vacated by their dad.

In 1980, Duncan Hunter was recruited to run for Congress in what was then the 42nd District. He has won re-election and has served on the Armed Forces Committee since that time. He served as chairman of the committee from 2002-2006 and now serves as ranking member. He also serves on the Select Committee on Homeland Security.

Duncan Hunter has been described as a hawk and holds a very pro-military stance. He believes in peace through strength and the best defense is a strong offense.
He feels when our military members are sent into combat they should be supported, not only in sentiment, but with tools and equipment they need to succeed.

Duncan Hunter, as a veteran and father of a Marine currently serving in the War on Terror, does indeed have a “unique” perspective on our military and national security issues.

Duncan Hunter brings dimension and expertise in national security.
He brings a strength to national security and military issues that we will need as the islamofascists pursue their goal of world domination.

On November 17, 2005 John Murtha held a press conference introducing a resolution he would bring to the floor of the House the following day. He announced;
“The war in Iraq is not going as advertised. It is a flawed policy wrapped in illusion.”
“Our military has done everything that has been asked of them, the U.S. can not accomplish anything further in Iraq militarily. IT IS TIME TO BRING THEM HOME.”
Murtha’s plan called for immediate redeployment of U.S. troops consistent with the safety of U.S. forces.

Please pay special notice to the fact this took place less than 30 days before the Iraqis were to vote for their permanent government on December 15th, which would be their third national vote in less than 11 months.

On November 18, 2005, in response Congressman John Murtha's resolution to terminate the deployment of United States forces in Iraq, to redeploy the forces already involved in Iraq, and to "pursue security and stability in Iraq through diplomacy," Duncan Hunter and other Republicans drafted a two-sentence counter-resolution which read:
Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately.
Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately.

The bill was defeated, 403-3, in the House of Representatives.
This should have silenced the war critics for a long time, but alas it did not.

Duncan Hunter has said: “The cornerstone of our responsibilities as elected officials is to defend and protect the American people. This was reinforced with the attacks of September 11th, which immediately made border security a national security issue.”

Hunter legislatively mandated the construction of 14 miles of security fencing on the border separating San Diego County and Tijuana, Mexico drastically reducing drug and people smuggling and other crimes.

In 2005, Hunter introduced legislation calling for the construction of a reinforced fence along the entire. Hunter's amendment was later incorporated into the Secure Fence Act. He has said that if he becomes President, the 754-mile double layer border fence will be built in 6 months. He has been an avid supporter of a secure border and bringing illegal entry under control.

Duncan Hunter supports supply side economics and Fair Trade. He does not support relinquishing our national sovereignty or selling out American workers in the name of Free Trade. All he requires is fair trade deals with a mirror policy in place. This is not a protectionist stance and those that attempt to twist it into one are disingenuous at best.

Duncan Hunter is pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-economic growth, pro-property rights, pro-family, pro-American and pro-military. He supports slowing down the rate of spending growth, except for the defense sector. He is the ideal candidate for republicans and conservatives.

In the Ames Straw Poll on August 11, 2007, he finished nine votes behind Rudy Giuliani and well ahead of McCain. On September 1, 2007, Hunter won the Texas Republican Straw Poll with 41 percent of the vote. He defeated undeclared candidate Fred Thompson (21 percent) and Texas Congressman Ron Paul (16 percent).

None of these results have been touted by the media, why? We are endlessly treated to every manufactured poll result, even those polling 50 people, yet the very large straw poll was ignored.

Perhaps it is because he has said:
"I'd like to see a country where the day I walk out of the White House, after a couple of terms, the American people are more independent of government than the day that I walked in."

This mind set does not sit well with those who would like to enslave us.

Think about these things very seriously before you vote!

WOW! I never thought I would see this place again.

Hard to believe it has been a year. So much is happening and has happened in such a short time.
It feels as if a decade has passed in a mere twelve months.

Hope to begin blogging on a regular basis. With the demonrats running rampant; starving and killing our troops, committing treason on a regular basis, setting up a shadow government and traveling abroad to inform the world that they are now in charge and THEY have their own foreign policy, claiming defeat in the Global War on Terror...there is much to digest and regurgitate.

PFC Joshua Sparling Story

I have been asked to blog an e-mail from Michael Sparling, Joshua's father, to a business man that was on a recent flight where this hero was treated poorly.

As I understand it, there has been minimal editing of the e-mail. Names of individuals in "quotations" have been changed to protect those involved.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees and passengers of Northwest Airlines, the WWII veterans and Mr. "John Doe" for the kindness shown to one of America's finest.

Dear Mr. "John Doe",

"John", when I met you at Ronald Reagan International Airport, you asked that I send you an e-mail in regards to my son, PFC Joshua Sparling. You wanted to know what happened to him while he was stationed in Iraq and what he and our family have been through during this period.
Let me begin by telling you how grateful and thankful we were for you on his flight back to Detroit. As you witnessed, it was very emotional and stressful for both Joshua and myself.

Joshua is with the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He dropped out of college to enlist with the 82nd to fight in the War on Terror. The recruiter told him he was nuts, because of his testing he could be in any MOS they had to offer. Joshua told him that he wanted to go after the bastards that came after us and he could not do that by sitting behind a desk.

In July 2005, Joshua went to West Point on temporary duty with C company 504-PIR, to train cadets for two months. Joshua was given a citation and written up in the New York papers. Basically, the article said that PFC Sparling was on the open fire obstacles with the cadets and one of them lifted their head too high. Josh ran to the officer and yelled at him to keep his damn head down or it would be blown off in combat. The officer embraced Josh, thanked him and bought him a beer. :)

They did such a good job with the cadets they were going to be rewarded with a two-week temporary duty in Europe to get their overseas jump wings, which nobody has received since WWII. A week before they were to leave, they got a call saying the Marines needed support in Iraq.

On September 2, 2005, they arrived in Baghdad Iraq. Once in Baghdad, Joshua came down with smallpox in reaction to the shot to prevent them. He was under care for three weeks for that and still has scars on the back of his neck and shoulders. They asked him if he wanted to go to Germany for treatment, but he told them he would not leave unless everyone in the 82nd got to go with him. :)

Joshua then proceeded with his unit to support the Marines in Operation Steel Curtain, on the Syrian border. There were seven member squads of 101st Airborne (Paratroopers), Marines, and Joshua's squad from the 82nd. The 82nd and Marine squads came under fire from the terrorists. During the fight, the 101st started firing on the Marines and Joshua's squad. They thought they were engaging terrorists. "Tom", with the 82nd was hit in the leg by the 101st. Joshua and his squad leader ran 200 meters while under constant enemy fire to the right of the terrorists and got behind a light pole to draw fire away from the two squads, while killing three terrorists, so they could retreat. Then the 101st realized what had happened and took out the appropriate target, killing the remaining terrorists. Joshua called me and said, "Dad, I thought I was going to be killed today, but God had other plans." Joshua was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor. "Tom", with the 82nd was shipped to Kuwait for treatment for the rifle wounds he received. Lucky for "Tom" it was a clean wound causing no damage. "Tom" rejoined Joshua and his unit four weeks later.

Joshua's unit and the Marines then went to Ramadi, Iraq for a support mission.

"Tom" rejoined the unit on November 18, 2005. The 82nd only had two more missions and they could return home. On November 20, 2005 at 1100 hours, they were on foot patrol in the outskirts of Ramadi. They spot what they thought were terrorists and began pursuit on foot. Then the terrorist turned around and set off an IED, or improvised explosive device. Joshua saw the red detonator and yelled before it went off blowing Josh 20 yards away and injuring "Tom", who had just rejoined the unit two days before.

I received a call by satellite phone from Joshua's squad leader so Joshua could tell me goodbye. Joshua said, "Dad, I'm sorry, but I've been hit bad and they don't think I'm gonna make it." Joshua's buddy tied on a tourniquet above his knee to stop the bleeding. Skin and knee braces, that all paratroopers wear, were holding on his leg. The chopper was there within two minutes carrying doctors and medics. They started giving him blood transfusions and got the bleeding stopped on the way back to Baghdad.

I received a call saying he was being sent to Landstuhl, Germany for further treatment. On November 23, 2005, I received a call saying Joshua was being shipped to Walter Reed Army Medical center. I arrived at Walter Reed the same day Joshua did, November 24th. The doctor in the ER wanted to amputate his leg at that point, but it would have been an amputation just below the hip. Joshua said no, so the doctor called in another surgeon, who was on leave. Major Tis, the BEST surgeon in the country in our eyes, told Joshua that he would personally take his case up with Captain Mack and Captain Hagelson, but it was going to be a long hard road ahead. Joshua and I agreed with Major Tis.

On the way to his first surgery on November 24th, the Red Cross gave Joshua a card. Josh thanked them for the card and opened it the next day. The card said, "Have great time in the war and have a great time dieing in the war. P.S. DIE" Joshua hung the card on the wall of his hospital room as an incentive to get well so he could go back to Iraq and finish the job.

Brian Kilmeade from Fox News and Colonel Oliver North came by the hospital just before Christmas and saw the card. They were appalled that someone would send such a card. The story made the news on Fox and Friends. Sean Hannity was made aware of the card and interviewed Joshua on his radio show.

On December 10, 2005, I became unemployed because of the time I would have to be with my son, which is the same day Joshua had a sixteen-hour surgery and the same day he was awarded the Purple Heart. Joshua was also awarded the Silver Star, and will receive it when he travels to Fort Bragg at the beginning of June.

From November 20, 2005 through January 15, 2006, Joshua had over 23 surgeries on his right leg while being treated for depression. He has had 31 surgeries to date. Joshua was discharged from the hospital on February 4, 2006 and began physical therapy. Both bones on his lowerright leg were completely gone as well as his calf muscle and nerves. They removed the muscle from his stomach and placed it just below his knee. They did skin graphs from his left leg and hip to put on his right leg and used a new drug hormone that promotes new bone growth.

Joshua suffered other injuries from the explosion as well. He has a blown eardrum, cracked teeth with cavities blown out and shrapnel wounds inside his mouth and all over his body.

In March, Joshua and I were finally able to go home to see our family and friends for the first time in nearly four months. Upon our return to Walter Reed, Joshua informed his great doctors that he could not get the pain out of his right foot, which was not damaged. They x-rayed his leg and foot. The bone in his leg is now about the size of a spaghetti noodle. The extensive damage done to the nerves in the leg was so severe that the foot was trying to tell the brain that everything was okay, but there were no nerves left in the leg to relay the message, so the foot believes it is damaged. Upon further testing they discovered that Joshua has no feeling in his lower right leg. The good news is in nine to ten months, joshes bones, just below the transplanted stomach muscle, will be large enough to support a below the knee amputation. This news came to us about two weeks ago. Joshua is still on five different narcotics for pain and two anti-depressants, along with others for bone growth.

That brings me to the part where you, "John", helped us. Joshua had booked a flight to go home for another convalescent leave on SPIRIT Airlines. We told them we would need a wheelchair and assistance with security because he was a wounded paratrooper confined to a wheel chair. They told us that would not be a problem. We normally use Northwest and they are great, but SPIRIT was $35.00 less so we booked with SPIRIT. I cannot fly with Joshua, because when he is home we need a car to go back and forth to the hospital and to dental and ortho appointments. I always send him first then I drive back to Michigan. This is when the incident occurred that precipitated our meeting with you, "John". You are a great American and a great representative for your company.

We arrived at the airport at 4:30 for a 5:10 flight. When we arrived there was no wheelchair, no one at the SPIRIT counter and no security. I looked for a SPIRIT employee for ten minutes. Joshua said, "Dad I'm going to miss my flight, just get me to the gate and they can help us there." Northwest gave us a wheel chair, but we still had no security. Security would not let us through because we had no boarding pass. We informed them that SPIRIT had our boarding pass and asked that he please let us go to the gate with him and he could verify it, or get someone from SPIRIT and they could give it to him. The security guard said, "You are no different than any other passenger with no boarding pass - no go."

My son started to cry uncontrollably and told the guard to go to hell. Another lady spoke up and said, "That's what you get for fighting in a war we have no business in." Madder and very emotional I asked, "Can't you remember 9-11?" She responded that was just our excuse to be in Iraq when we should not be there and we deserved whatever we got. That is when my son really lost it. Three WWII vets were coming off flights into DC and gave my son a hug and stood up to the lady and security guard. They stayed with my son until he flew out.

In the meantime, a wonderful man who works for the Military severely Injured Center, and assigned to the airport, was called by security. He asked what was going on. The Vets and I explained the situation and he said he would get someone from SPIRIT as soon as possible. It was now 4:50 pm and the plane leaves at 5:10. He went to the SPIRIT counter and there was still no one there. At 5:00 he found the employees in the back room at the SPIRIT counter, where they had been the entire time. He could not explain why they were not there to support their passengers. The manager came out and told us we were too late and they could not get Joshua on the flight because it was leaving in ten minutes. He also explained that it was a non-refundable ticket, but he would let us fly tomorrow evening. The head of MSIC (Military Severely Injured Center) said to give us a voucher on another airline and get the Soldier out tonight. The SPIRIT manager said they do not do vouchers for other airlines. I then suggested they give us a refund so we can get a ticket on another airline...he said, "NO." The head of MSIC told them to give the soldier a refund now or they would press charges against SPIRIT. We were then given a refund.

Meanwhile, Joshua was still at security. I told him "SPIRIT would not help us, but hang tight, I'll get you out tonight, I promise." Joshua said, "Never nind Dad, it's not worth it. I'm going to end it tonight. I said, "don't you dare do anything stupid. There are too many people who care about you and too many people have got you where you are today. Remember, they thought you were going to die and you fought hard to stay alive.

I went to the Northwest counter and the lady was crying because of what had happened. She told me she was already working on a ticket for Joshua. Northwest offered any passenger a free roundtrip ticket to anywhere they flew, if they would give up their seat for a soldier who was severely injured in Iraq.

EIGHT businessmen came forward and said Joshua could have their seat and no compensation was necessary. Northwest then asked if anyone would give up his or her first class seat for Joshua. Another gentleman came forward and said Joshua could have his seat, saying he would sit in the toilet if need be. Other passengers remarked that Joshua could sit anywhere on the plane he wants and they would sit wherever.

That is when I broke down and started to cry. Everyone on that Northwest flight began patting Joshua on the back shaking his hand and telling him what a great job he did and how proud they were of him and the other troops who serve. After helping my son board, not one person failed to tell me thanks for what my son and I have been through. Joshua made it back to Michigan and is doing extremely well. He has physical therapy at Port Huron Hospital and he has counseling twice a week and is doing great!

Since this ordeal began, I have lost my job, Joshua and I have missed the birth of my grandson and granddaughter, my 18-year-old son's graduation from high school and every holiday. Joshua and I feel we would go through it again if need be. My belief has always been God, family and country, in that order, nothing else matters.

I am a proud father/grandfather of eight children and ten grandchildren. We will be home in May, to see all the family. We both will return to Walter Reed in June for follow-ups. Joshua should be able to return to the 82nd Airborne in the next 18-24 months or so.

Please keep all of our troops in harms way in your thoughts and prayers. Five out of the seven Paratroopers in Joshua's unit were injured in Iraq. Three of the five are still there. Joshua just got the unlucky straw because his injuries were the worst. One of the two injured Marines is already back with his unit. I say already, but it has been over five months. Thank God neither unit lost any lives!

Thanks again "John", for your kind heart and your uplifting spirit. If any one wants to send a card or anything, please address it to me so I can screen it first.

Employees-aka-Congress

I will begin my blogging adventure with one item that has been on my mind - Politicians!

Politicians are employees of the citizens of the United States of America. They are elected by said citizens to represent their best interests and the best interests of our country. Somewhere along the way these employees have come to believe they are triumphant rulers over the mindless masses that inhabit their space and owe them their full allegiance and honor.

And the American people sleep.

Our employees give themselves hefty raises and benefit packages that ninety-eight percent of Americans can not even dream of. Then, they have the unmitigated gaul to rob their subjects.....er.....employers of the money to pay for the salaries and benefits they decided to give themselves. All the while slapping each other on the back in congratulatory adulation for the great job they are doing "for the American people."

And the American people sleep.

These illustrious employees get together behind closed doors in smoky back rooms (yes they are still permitted to smoke even though they have made laws against smoking for the idiots.....er.....employers) or at fancy cocktail/dinner parties in their sweet little tuxes and ball gowns that the morons.....er.....employers paid for, or private little soirees in the Swiss Alps to come up with ways to bamboozle those silly little minions.....er.....employers out of their money, their rights and their country.

And the American people sleep.

These audacious employees gather together with a teenie weenie segment of the population and decide that they have more rights than the overwhelming majority of the proletariat.....er.....employers and bequeath to them all manner of access to jobs, money, housing, food, healthcare and protection. All this comes at the expense of the fools.....er.....employers, of course.

And the American people sleep.

The employees strike up deals with foreign agents to sell the United States of America, one piece at a time, to said foreigners, with nary a consent from the twits.....er.....employers that hired them. If a bargain can not be reached to sell our country, they make a side deal to import foreign agents in vast quantities. Soon there are enough of them to demand a piece of the United States of America.

And the American people sleep.

Our employees are a cunning lot. They passed a constitutional amendment to remove the right of American people to vote for a President more than twice. I have yet to see an amendment or even a law, that requires these weasels to step down after a certain time frame. Oh yes, they can, and should be voted out.....

but the American people are asleep.

The time has come to try this blogging thingy.

My thoughts can certainly be no more inane than what I read and hear from the media.

There will be no fancy chatter and uppity attitudes or platitudes. No words that require a dictionary or PhD will be used. All that nonsense is for the "enlightened intellectuals" that relentlessly pursue our minds with the intention of turning us into peanut butter to be spread as they see fit to conceal the holes in their logic, and more dangerously, their intentions.

Hopefully, we will be able to keep things down to earth where common sense prevails. I have become increasingly loathsome of the talking heads in the media and the political class. It is beyond time that the Peanut Gallery be heard and heard loud and clear.
