I voted for the Department of Defense Appropriation bill because, at this moment in time, due to the complete failure by the Democrat Majority in the Senate this is currently the only vehicle on the table. But more importantly,
my “Yes” vote today was for my Brothers and Sisters in uniform.
My “No” sentiment reflects a disappointment in my own leadership.
I believe today, more than ever, in the words of Winston Churchill who said “I was only the servant of my country and had I, at any moment, failed to express her unflinching resolve to fight and conquer, I should at once have been rightly cast aside.”
has to say is worth reading.
